Dropbox- I have never heard of this and haven’t or probably will never use it on my school or home computer. I would only use it so I could use my files some other location.
VLC Media Player- I also have never heard of this and haven’t or probably will never use it on my school or home computer. I would only use this to support nearly all digital audio and video formats.
Music Unlimited- I would use this instead of iTunes because you can get music to stream directly to your phone, internet connected TV, or your PS3. Music Unlimited also is like Pandora. You can also stream songs in your personal music library that have been previously synced from your computer.
It could be smarter to use software that runs right from your flash drive instead of loading it on a computer hard drive because you would be saving space on your computer, which results in a faster computer. Also it could be faster to load software from a flash drive then directly from a computer. I would maybe use the Google Chrome software and the school may not like this because they could just have it on their computers instead of on flash drives.
